Paragon Entertainment LLC presents a summer concert, "Idaho Indie Fest™ '08"

BOISE, Idaho, June 10, 2008- Paragon Entertainment LLC, a music entertainment and global film distribution company is presenting a concert the Fourth of July weekend. Idaho Indie Fest™ '08 will be held at Qwest Arena in the heart of downtown Boise. The arena is home to Boise's local sports teams; the Boise Burn, Idaho Stampede and the Idaho Steelheads (www.qwestarenaidaho.com). Concert-goers can enjoy an exciting, full day of music in a large, air-conditioned facility with all of the amenities this type of luxury venue has to offer.

Idaho Indie Fest™ '08 will be held Saturday, July 5th, from noon until 10pm (doors open at 11:00 AM). The concert will showcase 12 bands performing on two side-by-side sound stages with back- to- back, uninterrupted entertainment, for over ten straight hours. All bands will play original music from a multitude of genres including rock, indie, folk, pop, acoustic, experimental, R&B, Jazz and many more. A wide variety of food and beverages (including a full bar with beer and wine) will be available, along with an art fair featuring local jewelers, potters, painters, glass blowers, craftsman and more. This is an all-ages, family friendly event and everyone is welcome.

"We started this concert series last year with our 'Live at Hyde™' event in Hyde Park and it was a very big success," says Wendy Meyers, Paragon Company President and CEO. "We've received an overwhelming amount of positive support from the community about producing live music events with up-and-coming artists, and that's exactly what we intend to do with Idaho Indie Fest '08. We've culled the nation, including Boise, for the 'best of the best' bands and solo artists; many of them undiscovered 'pearls'. We've had over 400 top-notch musicians from across the country respond to our 'call for artists' to perform in the series and are beyond thrilled at the quality of the band lineup we've put together for the concert - artists from Minneapolis to Boise, to LA and everywhere in between. If you're a music lover of any kind, this concert is absolutely the place to be this Fourth of July weekend. Additionally, you couldn't find a better venue for a music festival. It's the perfect concert experience; back to back music entertainment in a gorgeous, air-conditioned stadium in the heart of downtown Boise. It doesn't get any better than that."

Meyers goes on to say, "We've had tremendous issues finding an appropriate venue for our concert and had another location picked out early in our planning. But the immediate interest by the general public made it clear we needed a larger venue than we'd originally planned for. The folks at Qwest arena have been incredibly supportive and an absolute pleasure to work with. We definitely hope to be back next year and make this an annual event."

Admission fees for the concert will be $12 on a pre-sale basis and $15 at the door. Pre-sale tickets can be purchased on line at www.idahoindiefest.com, at the Record Exchange, or at the Qwest Box Office (tickets at the Qwest Box Office will be available after June 19, 2008). Tickets are on a first come, first served basis and due to the interest over the holiday weekend, it's advised to purchase your tickets early. Children under 12 accompanied by a paying adult and seniors, 62 and over are free. Meyers says, "The entertainment value of our concert is exceptionally high, however, we wanted to keep the ticket price very reasonable so that every person in the community would have access to our show. We feel everyone should enjoy the gift of great music. A portion of all ticket sales will be donated to TrICA, the Treasure Valley Institute for Children's Arts (www.tricarts.org).

Qwest Arena is located at the Grove Hotel in the heart of downtown Boise (233 S. Capitol Blvd. Boise ). For more information about concert details, individual artists and bands, bios, pictures and MP3 samples of their music, please go to www.idahoindiefest.com
